The UMR GmbH was founded in 1996. Main shareholder is the technology provider IABG ”Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH” from Ottobrunn (~ 1,000 employees).

The UMR is an environmental consulting company specialized in analyzing interdisciplinary topics from the environmental sector, assessing and presenting an expert opinion.

Consulting services are primarily provided for transactional law firms and M & A advisers, private equity firms and banks, insurance companies, insurance brokers and firms and, subsequently, their clients.

Here the various components of the counseling serve the identification of environmental risks of any kind, which in the short, medium-or long-term provide a threat to the economic success of a company or a performance risk by emergence of environmental costs to indirectly represented contributors (e.g. financing institutions, holding companies etc).

Compilation and production of geo data are provided primarily for international engineering companies, companies in the commodities and construction industries as well as for geographic military use.

Here the processing of raw data from satellites with their own tools (DRYSATMAP ®) results in geo-scientific maps with outstanding depth of information. These analog and digital map products allow for a massive acceleration of prospecting in the material economy. The
engineering and construction industries will have long term benefits using an ideal tool for geotechnical site and route planning.
