Biogas
We master interdisciplinary problem tasks!
Biogas plants are complex systems that need proper scientific, technical, legal and organizational management in order to be successful.
This very interdisciplinary task is the prime discipline of the UMR.
Many environmental factors have a direct impact on the profitability of such a facility and thereby on the success of the investor and the creditworthiness of the project.
The UMR recognizes, evaluates and removes the following key risks:
- risks that jeopardize the realization or the overall schedule (in particular, neighborhood legal environmental, administrative and building code issues as well as location and infrastructure deficiencies)
- risks that jeopardize the utilization and hence the profitability of investments (in particular problems with the supply of resources or raw materials disposal)
- risks that diminish the overall availability of the system and thus the profitability (especially technical and organizational issues) and
- risks that threaten the investment portfolio due to unexpected events or the individual plant or the neighborhood (e.g. environmentally hazardous substances, explosive gases, natural hazards)
Today especially the environmental effects become publicly known as odor, noise problems or damages which can negatively affect the company’s reputation and continued existence.
The UMR will guide you through difficult approval processes, problems with specialist authorities or as a court expert in disputes.
